When I moved to Colorado in 2006 I decided to explore new avenues in clay. My interest in tiles and texture lead me to take a class with instructor Janey Skeer. Her class was full of new techniques and information and her style of teaching was refreshing.
Though I had used texture in the past, this class offered new possibilities and I now embrace working with slabs of clay using different tools for texture in creating wall pieces. This phase of my clay journey being so different than my vessel pieces I'm very excited to offer my new work in Tiles & Texture.
